The role:


As the Executive Support Officer, you will maintain effective working relationships by liaising, consulting and negotiating with Queensland Health and other key external stakeholders.


You will have a proactive approach in your management and organisation of the executive's office, ensuring you provide comprehensive administrative support that aligns with Queensland Health's administration policies and procedures.


Your Key Responsibilities include:


  • Proactively organise all aspects of the branch leader's office including, (but not limited to): Accurate up to date diary management (ensuring forward planning of regular meetings, accuracy of itineraries and provision of supporting documents for meetings).
  • Arrangement of travel
  • Establishment and maintenance of contact lists and bring up systems
  • Preparation of written information, letters, briefs and correspondence
  • Assist branch staff to develop, maintain, and implement improvements to complete internal processes and conformance with business planning, records and financial management practices and requirements.
  • Maintain effective working relationships by communicating, consulting and negotiating with Queensland Health (QH) ICT and health care professionals on behalf of Branch Management.
  • Undertake basic research on behalf of branch leadership team and prepare written reports on findings and options for possible action.
