Facility Services and Cleaning business, enjoying continued growth throughout the State.


To support our continued growth, we are seeking
Training Manager to join our central support team based in Eight Mile Plains.

The role is Full Time basis and require some regional travels.


About the role:


Reporting directly to the WHSE-Q Manager, the Training Manager will be accountable for the overall performance of CMBM's operational training management and delivery and will ensure consistent delivery of required learning outcomes through the implementation of high-quality training programs, packages, and other interventions in collaboration with established RTO partners.

To be successful in this role the successful applicant must possess a relevant training and development qualification (Diploma Level or equivalent), a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the AQTF framework and be able to:

  • determine and establish efficient and effective training systems;
- deliver high quality training; and
- meet compliance requirements of the RTO.


Accountabilities include (but not limited to):

  • Manage and facilitate accredited courses in Commercial Cleaning (inc public courses) in house delivery
  • Develop and manage the CMBM Training/Learning Management Systems, its coordination and train others in their use. This includes the development of training packages and material to support the training needs
  • Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to training requirements.
  • Manage training compliance with the RTO
  • Undertake routine and ad hoc administrative work as required in accordance with established administration systems, policies procedures and processes, to ensure ongoing availability of uptodate, accurate training and assessment and associated records, which satisfy the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Maintain a strategic focus on training and induction performance through reporting, analytics and against KPI achievement. Undertake planning, and training needs assessment as required.
  • Contribute to the Recruitment and on boarding of CMBM team members
  • End to end delivery of training initiatives initial consultation, design, delivery, and evaluation
  • Establish training recording systems
  • Generate revenue through training and optimise opportunities for incentive based employment
  • Grow CMBMs training knowledge with existing staff
  • Create a collaborative, innovative and supported learning culture
  • Evaluate the performance of trainers and determine development opportunities
  • Create individual and team development programs / pathways, in consultation with the CMBM Executive Management Group

The successful applicant will possess:


  • A Diploma in Training Design and Development (or equivalent / similar)
  • Demonstrable experience and success in Planning and Managing Public Courses
  • Previous track record of meeting RTO training and assessment requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar training management role
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound practical knowledge of training systems / platforms fully conversant with MS Office Suite of programs
  • Proven strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience collaborating, coaching and developing team members
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing wideranging stakeholders
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making ability able to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously / self directed
  • High standard of professionalism and integrity
  • High level accuracy and attention to detail
  • A current drivers licence

Desirable:


  • Experience in the commercial cleaning or similar industry
  • Experience working with target groups (TAFE, School Leavers, New Starters, members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community etc.)
