We are partnering with a well-known Queensland Government agency to recruit an

A07 Communications and Marketing Specialist to help deliver a

Stakeholder and Community Education Program for a 12-month fixed term role. This is a pivotal role and is a key whole-of-organisation function within the Strategic Engagement Team. Start 2023 off right as the Communications Lead for the team - brining your drive, creativity, collaborative mindset and desire to drive the implementation of a brand-new three-year strategy.

Some of the key responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to;

Drive communication strategies from research and planning through to implementation.
Responsible for driving the annual Wills Week education campaign and Ekka display.
Research and write communications across a range of channels including industry publications, social media, stakeholder newsletters, CEO speeches and presentations.
Deliver Webinars and other digital engagement activities.
Develop and refine key messages in consultation across the business.
Support with media activities including research, writing and event management.
Develop Social Benefit reports, fact sheets and other key publications.
Contribute to the annual forward calendar of communication opportunities.

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead the implementation of a brand-new stakeholder and community engagement strategy.

It requires someone with proven experience in leading communication projects/programs, and who can hit the ground running with limited supervision.

To be considered for this role you will have proven experience in a similar role at a senior level, you will have worked across all areas of communications, marketing, and campaigns.

You will possess strong research and writing skills adaptable across a range of platforms and audiences including social media channels.

You will have proven project management skills to ensure competing priorities are met and prior experience working in Government, events and PR would be advantageous in this role.
