Northcott seeks committed, caring, professional individuals to join our Supported Living Team in Woodbine. We offer casual roles for greater flexibility.


These roles are suited to those who genuinely desire to promote independence and inclusion in society of people with disabilities or developmental delays, support individuals to have a voice choice and exercise control over their own lives to achieve their individual goals.


Typical duties might include:


  • Supporting customers to develop and maintain independence;
  • Supporting customers with personal care, including bowel care and other health and hygiene issues such as eating, dressing, toileting and showering;
  • Various household tasks include cooking, cleaning, shopping, and other community access activities.

Essential Requirements:


  • Experience supporting customers with intellectual and physical disabilities challenging behaviours;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the disability sector;
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our customers;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their individual care plans;
  • Flexibility to work shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster including morning, afternoon and active night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Australian Driver's Licence and reliable car;
  • NSW Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate, showing units of competency HLTAID011 and HLTAID009
