    BMD is a privately owned national construction company operating a fully integrated civil infrastructure group with over 40 years' experience. Our BMD Urban division is the largest urban development contractor in Australia to deliver minor infrastructure upgrades, residential and commercial land development.

    About the role

    With a robust project pipeline ahead, BMD Urban is in search of a Site Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team in South East Queensland.

    To build a successful career with BMD, you will be a self-starter, who is committed to ongoing learning and high performance.

    We are on the look out for a Site Engineer to join our friendly, dynamic and high calibre team. You will draw on your demonstrated site and engineering experience, to:

  • collaborate closely with site supervisors to provide engineering and technical support
  • coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of activities
  • provide innovative solutions to complex challenges and strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements
  • manage the quality assurance of works and oversee procurement requirements.

    To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
  • A minimum 2 years' experience for Site Engineers
  • Prior experience delivering subdivisional work highly regarded
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do
  • Drive to achieve cost-effective outcomes
  • Experience with reputable local contractors working on civil construction projects ranging in value.
