About the Opportunity


The Knowledge Management Specialist is accountable for the establishment and implementation of the knowledge management framework, including associated business systems and supporting processes for future programs of work.

This role operates within the People & Culture structure, collaborating closely with Transfer of Technology function and project teams to lead the capture of knowledge transfer data across future programs.

Aligned to this, the Knowledge Management Specialist has dotted line reporting into the Transfer of Technology Training Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Defining the knowledge management approach for key learning and development activities
  • Manage the process for capturing/maintaining knowledge transfer data
  • Support the development of plans and reporting requiring knowledge management input.
  • Define the system architecture requirements to capture knowledge transfer data.
  • Champion the establishment of a knowledge sharing focussed culture

Skills & Experiences

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Human Resources, Knowledge Management or similar discipline.
  • Minimum of 57 years' demonstrated experience in a similar role with specific experience in defining/implementing knowledge management frameworks within a complex program.
  • Extensive knowledge of knowledge management systems and capture strategies.
  • Experience in the development and continuous improvement of knowledge management frameworks
  • Effective project management skills with welldeveloped time management skills to plan workload, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities
