As a Payroll Officer you will be responsible for processing monthly and fortnightly payroll for our clients New Zealand entity.

Our client is a global leader in their industry, specialising in diesel and alternative fuel engines, generators, and related technology.
Description
Your duties will include:
- Administer and process payroll for New Zealand business units
- Ensure precise and timely payment calculations, including taxes and deductions
- Provide exceptional customer support, handling offcycle or replacement payments
- Review information for general ledger entries and financial reporting associated with payroll
- Participate in the review and preparation of data for payrollrelated tax returns and withholding forms
- Complete yearend processes, including adjustments, tax statements, and tax filing review
- Act as an internal and external resource for payrollrelated inquiries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and maintain payroll process documentation.
Profile
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least 3 years experience in payroll processing
- Experience covering New Zealand payroll would be ideal
- Strong expertise in ADP/Payforce platform is essential
- Proficiency in payroll administration and tax regulations
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- A strategic mindset and a keen eye for process improvement.
