Sydney South West Private Hospital is currently seeking a Supply Manager to oversee the strategic direction and management of the supply department.

About us

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is a 98 bed, 7 operating theatres acute surgical hospital that serves the needs of the local community at Liverpool and surrounds.

Services provided include (but not limited to) General & Surgical Day Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Maternity and Special Care Nursery facilities, Oncology Unit as well as a Mental Health Unit.

As a Supply Manager your responsibilities will include:

Effective management of Supply Department's human and financial resources to ensure positive clinical outcomes and operational goals
Manage stakeholder relationship to ensure all suppliers provide best value and service
Oversee contract preparation and negotiations to ensure legislative and service requirements are met.

Essential Criteria:

Previous Senior experience in a Supply/Purchasing role
Ability to manage and provide effective leadership of all Supply staff
Team orientated and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
Strong IT literacy, including experience in the use of ERP software
Attention to detail including accurate data entry
Ability to prioritise work effectively
Excellent customer service and communication skills
