Sydney South West Private Hospital is currently seeking a Supply Manager to oversee the strategic direction and management of the supply department.

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is a 98 bed, 7 operating theatres acute surgical hospital that serves the needs of the local community at Liverpool and surrounds.

Services provided include (but not limited to) General & Surgical Day Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Maternity and Special Care Nursery facilities, Oncology Unit as well as a Mental Health Unit.

As a Supply Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Effective management of Supply Department's human and financial resources to ensure positive clinical outcomes and operational goals
  • Manage stakeholder relationship to ensure all suppliers provide best value and service
  • Oversee contract preparation and negotiations to ensure legislative and service requirements are met.

Essential Criteria:


  • Previous Senior experience in a Supply/Purchasing role
  • Ability to manage and provide effective leadership of all Supply staff
  • Team orientated and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Strong IT literacy, including experience in the use of ERP software
  • Attention to detail including accurate data entry
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
