    Description

    Our client is a chartered firm of three Directors and twenty professional staff focused on providing tax, compliance and strategy advice to a portfolio of private businesses.

    Homogenised compliance is exactly that.
    The main focus in this professional setting is business advice.
    That is where the true value to clients is delivered.
    The practice services a diverse and highly successful group of private business clients who contract for broad based advice.
    The depth of service sees staff involved in clients' tax and commercial strategies and long-term plans.
    The Senior Tax Accountant reports to a Partner with a background within the Big 4 international firms.

    The professional development inherent to working with top level Partners is readily apparent to those who aspire to launch beyond garden variety compliance.

    Success in this role will necessarily be underpinned by;
    Chartered or CPA qualifications
    Minimum of five years experience in a professional tax practice
    Competence in Division 7a
    Experience in assisting with the development of tax planning
    An understanding of SMSF interaction with tax optimisation
    Confidence in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for multi-entity groups comprising companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
