The role of Advancement is to engage University alumni and friends and secure gifts.

Direct fundraising experience is preferred but transferable skills in sales, marketing, project coordination, social media, and communications are all highly valued.

The Development Manager will:

Maintain an active portfolio of 50 prospects with the ability to make 6figure+ gifts
Work with University and College resources to cultivate, solicit, and steward gifts
Actively engage alumni, donors, and friends through facetoface meetings
Partner with academic leaders and College executives to develop cases of support for philanthropic priorities
Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills
Maintain exquisite attention to detail
Have an understanding of how education and research contribute to health and wellbeing
