We are currently seeking an Area Retail Compliance Officer to join our Area Retail Compliance team.

You will collaborate closely with the Corporate Compliance Officer, General Manager Retail Compliance, and the Area Retail Compliance Team to deliver the results within the provided time frames.


As an Area Retail Compliance Officer, no day will be the same as you will provide recommendations to our franchise network and assist the Proprietor and their respective teams to understand their obligations to ensure compliance with both National and State regulations are met.


As part of your role, you will cover our Sydney Metropolitan Region (which includes the Warrawong district), and your responsibilities will primarily include conducting compliance and Work, Health and Safety Reviews and providing compliance training throughout this Region.

Whilst you report from the Corporate Office your daily duties will be in stores.

You will be confident in your approach as the role involves a high level of in store training. You will have at least 5 years' experience in a large format retail environment and have knowledge of Australian Consumer Law and WHS governance requirements are desirable,


About You:


  • Previous exposure within a retail sale, customer service or administration position.
  • Prior experience and proven successes in training will be beneficial.
  • Have the ability to produce & run reports with a solid level of detail
  • Be able to manage a number of tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication & time management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills with the ability to influence desired outcomes.
  • Ability to work remotely and autonomously in multisite locations.
  • Develop training materials for use in the Compliance Program.
  • Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of word and excel are essential for the role.
  • Be confident to recommend changes in store practices to ensure Franchisor recommended protocols and policies are maintained.
  • Train newly appointed Proprietors in respect of their obligations under Compliance and established Franchisor business practices.
  • As the role involves extensive travel you must hold a valid driver's license with a good history.
