Bundoora Park Farm is seeking an energetic and innovative Education Team Leader to lead and direct our enthusiastic Education Team in Bundoora Park, a Darebin City Council regional park.

Bundoora Park Farm is a space that brings together culture, community and the environment. We seek to represent farming over time and inspire change towards a more sustainable and harmonious planet.


The successful applicant will be responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of education, holiday, recreation and volunteer programs and ensuring programs are delivered in an informative, fun and professional manner.

About the Role

The role of Education Team Leader involves coordinating, developing and delivering the education, holiday, recreation and volunteer programs at Bundoora Park for the local and wider community Programs include farming, sustainability and the history of land use.

Historical programs involve teaching about the true history of Australia, exploring the history of indigenous culture, farming and communication.

  • Book groups and/or individuals into programs
  • Create, coordinate, and deliver education, recreation, holiday and volunteer programs
  • Supervise, recruit, train and performance manage education staff and prepare rosters.
  • Induct and supervise work experience students, work placement students and volunteers

Skills & Experience

  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Experience in teaching or working with children
  • Tertiary qualification an advantage
  • Skills in group management or professional speaking
  • Experience working with animals
  • Knowledge in Australian History an advantage
