About the role


Reporting to the Safety Health & Wellbeing Manager - Supply Chain, the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Business Partner is responsible for implementing National Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) strategies at a site level, while also developing and delivering site specific strategies to support the organisation's SH&W strategy and performance.

The role will work collaboratively with site Leadership to ensure compliance is maintained with the National Audit Tool, Wesfarmers Health's SH&W Management System standards and regulatory / legislative requirements.


The responsibilities for this role include:
**Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W)


SH&W Leadership - Champion safety on site through the development and implementation of Safety Business Plans. Champion Wellbeing on site through supporting the development and roll out of wellbeing plans and initiatives.


National Audit Tool - Ensure site compliance is delivered and maintained. Lead onsite implementation of the Wesfarmers Health internal and external audit program to ensure Self-Insurance accreditation is maintained against the National Audit Tool.


Risk Management - Implement Risk Management procedures for site(s) to ensure risks are identified, assessed accurately, and controlled to an acceptable standard. Ensure risks associated with workplace change are successfully managed at site. Ensure risk management processes are embedded at a local level through the development and delivery of training to support on-site SH&W processes.


About the Role:


  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or Warehousing business is preferred.
  • Sound technical knowledge in relation to OH&S legislation and standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and consultation skills to identify and influence desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experiencing building strong working relationships to achieve objectives.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and drive action when faced with project delays.
  • Ability to support multiple sites (as required).
  • Strong computer knowledge (Word formatting and document creation. Excel basic formulas, sorting, filtering and use of pivot tables. Online reporting systems report generation, Devices iOS familiarity).

Education/Qualifications:


  • Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
