- Ensure customer requirements are promptly and accurately interpreted, using the correct Technical information sources - AX, Link one, DSNs, CAT Mining
- Customer enquiry orders are processed through Microsoft AX in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure customer credit policies and procedures are correctly implemented, including the use of credit approval function DSPCRDT when appropriate
- Ongoing review of monthly parts sales to allow accurate parts forecasting of Min/Max Levels
- Monitoring of parts inwards/dispatch to customer sites
- Communicate with Caterpillar stakeholders regarding parts ordering and availability to meet customer orders
- Providing Asset Solution team - part sale reports to assist in part procurement and increase sale targets
- Supply content and round expertise to dedicated customers and sites
- Procedures for the application of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) are correctly applied
- EFP or NEFP status of customer orders is interpreted in accordance with the Caterpillar and company policy
- Customers' legitimate requests for published technical information are satisfied by reference to various approved publications
- Knowledge of Caterpillar parts operations, procedures and product range
- Minimum five years' experience in a relevant Parts support role
- Mechanical or Trade Qualified is desirable thought not essential
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work successfully autonomously, as well as in a team environment
- Intermediate Computer Skills, with experience in Microsoft Office Suite and AX experience

About the Role:
Now recruiting for a Technical Parts Advisor to join the Dragline & Rope Shovel Sales Support Department in Mackay/Rockhampton. This role primarily exists to provide maximum customer satisfaction, ensuring all customer contact is professional in supplying parts expertise and content understanding of Draglines and Rope Shovels to meet/exceed the customer experience.
Working Monday to Friday either in Mackay or Rockhampton, we are looking for someone with impeccable work ethics who likes to learn, seize opportunities, and take responsibility for achieving excellence whilst working as part of a dynamic and progressive great team.
