  • $99,583 per annum + company vehicle
  • Part time (Term Appointment until 30 June 2025)

    Your Role

    As a Dementia Advisor you'll be supporting the most important people in our organisation - our clients.

    Your tasks will include:

  • Providing person centered dementia advice to people living with dementia at home and their carers
  • Providing a high level of assessment, behavioural analysis, goal planning and enabling strategies verbally and in written reports
  • Care co-ordination and referrals to local support services
  • Evaluating the effects of support provided through planned reviews
  • Contributing to service planning, management and reporting tasks
  • Marketing and networking with community groups and individuals
  • Delivering dementia education packages to the community and service provider.

  • Role Requirements

  • Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
  • Current Police Screening Certificate
  • Current Queensland driver's licence
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a health related field
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards this qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery and management of community-based dementia services and care
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
