Intro Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a Brisbane based civil contractor who specialise in road and bridge construction projects.

We are looking to appoint a

Civil

Site Supervisor on a permanent basis who will be responsible for the delivery of infrastructure for Department of Transport & Main Roads (DTMR).

These projects range from $5 to $30M in project value. The initial requirement will be a Bridge construction project near Bundaberg working on a 5:2 Roster.


Position

  • Oversee delivery of civil earthworks, road/pavement, drainage and structural scope of works
  • Ability to interpret and execute contract plans.
  • Complete project guidelines in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with both client and external subcontractors.
  • Supervision of allocated resources and control of labour.
  • Understanding and pioneering a strong attitude towards Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures and policies
  • Willingness to work in regional QLD (DIDO/FIFO)

Qualifications

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Civil Construction.
  • Construction White Card
  • Minimum 3 years as Supervisor
  • Previous Supervisor experience on road infrastructure projects (DTMR preferred)
  • High level verbal and written communication
  • Strong understand of Australian OH&S Standards and DTMR Specifications
