Are you passionate about data management and looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a large Federal Government Department? Canberra Consulting is seeking motivated individuals to join our clients Data Management team.

As part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality control, modelling, extraction, uploading, and analysis of Master Data.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Entry Level / Associate Level:
  • Assist in continuous improvement of data methods, tools, quality assurance, and customer offerings.
  • Document processes used for data extraction and transformation to ensure repeatability and compliance.
  • Build and sustain strong interactive relationships and negotiate with customers and key stakeholders to deliver tailored recommendations.

Intermediate Level:


  • Design and implement automated data solutions aimed at providing crucial insights for decisionmaking and streamlining business processes.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, infographic presentations, reports, and visualisations that accurately represent business data and facilitate informed decisionmaking.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance processes, frameworks, policies, standards, and artifacts.

To be successful in these roles, you will need:

  • Proven experience in data management roles, with a focus on data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Power Query, Power BI and other Microsoft tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
