Description

Douglass Hanly Moir, New South Wales' premier pathology practice, has part time positions available for Pathology Aides in the North Shore Upper area.

Part time hours:
Monday to Friday (5 days each week), plus participation in the Saturday roster.

Pathology Aides

Your primary duties, as a member of our busy pathology team, will be to take specimens from patients and to provide basic medical tests, such as ECGs and Holter monitoring assist patients at reception or assist in preparing these specimens for testing at our central laboratory.

The successful applicants must be honest, reliable, able to work as part of a professional team and have excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

They will also be required to complete a comprehensive training program. Previous recent is highly desirable, but not essential., as full training will be provided.

Prior to commencement, all successful applicants will be required to provide documentary evidence of the following:

A current First Aid certificate (HLTAID0011)
Vaccinations, including Influenza vaccination (as per our website)
A current driver's licence
Prior to and at all times during employment, applicants for this position must have the appropriate working rights to work in Australia and will be required to have a valid satisfactory National Police Check and Working With Children Check. _Applicants must be willing to be vaccinated against COVID19 including booster shots and have an Influenza vaccination annually. _
