Please note:

Due to Machinery of Government changes under Section 30 of the Public Administration Act (PPA),effective 1 January 2023, your employment will be with the Department of Transport and Planning.

Corporate Services, including payroll, will be provided by Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action while a process for the formal transfer of staff in impacted areas is implemented.

The Digital Twin Victoria (DTV) Platform Specialist provides operations and delivery support for DTV, including technical problem solving and solution design to drive system improvements, and build upon the existing spatial visualisation tools, functions, and analytics.

As a key member of the DTV team, you will have to confidently understand and communicate technical challenges, define solutions, and execute on associated plans, systems and processes.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in a geospatial or IT/computing domain is required.
  • A working knowledge of 3D geospatial data, data formats, and services is highly desirable, including terrain models, 3D buildings/meshes/object models, point clouds, imagery, BIM/CAD (IFC, Revit, Navisworks, Bentley, 12D).
This is a fixed term position available until 08 July 2025. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne.
