The Company
Over the past 70 years, my client has grown into one of Australia's largest food manufacturers, suppliers and marketers of frozen savoury, frozen meals and dessert products.
Due to a recent promotion within the team, a vacancy has arisen for an experienced Inventory Analyst.The Role
Reporting into the newly promoted Inventory Manager, this role will be focusing on maintaining and improving inventory control and accuracy, and reducing inventory risk via routine monitoring practices and tracking of risk-reduction actions.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential issues
- Analyze sales data and forecast future demand
- Collaborate with production and warehousing teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status and performance
- Investigate and implement corrective actions that ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved
Skills & Experience
- 23 years of experience in inventory management or related field in a manufacturing environment
- A good understanding of supply planning processes and systems
- A strong understanding of effective inventory control / management systems and processes
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Good financial acumen and a basic knowledge of Inventory accounting
