Responsibilities:


As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily activities, promoting their independence and wellbeing, and ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

This is a part-time or casual position with flexible working hours.


  • Provide direct care assistance to clients including personal hygiene support, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, etc.
  • Assist clients with maintaining a clean-living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Promote independence among clients by encouraging them to participate in activities that enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication, active listening, and understanding their individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions including observations made during visits or shifts.
  • Report any changes or concerns regarding the client's health or well-being promptly to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
  • Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations related to social care practices.

Qualifications:


  • Qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support or related field is preferred but not required. Nursing and Medical students encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience working in the social care industry is an advantage but not mandatory.

A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable registered vehicle and insurance

  • Australian Federal Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
  • COVID-19 Fully vaccinated (Aged care industry standard)
  • First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred
