Overview:
- Fulltime, Continuing position available based at the Melbourne City Campus, with a hybrid and flexible work arrangement.
- Salary Level HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation and generous leave entitlements.
As the Coordinator, Planning and Operations, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial/analytical support across a diverse range of operational and project activities within the Office of the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) and the Experience Function.
The key areas of focus include supporting:
- Operational and project finance activities (e.g., timesheets, reconciliations, reporting),
- Resource related tasks (e.g., assisting with demand and capacity management),
- Coordinating project requirements (e.g., scheduling, meeting coordination, creating beautiful project templates and documentation), and,
- The curation of content for a range of internal communication initiatives.
You will work closely and collaboratively with the Manager, Planning and Operations to support the continuous uplift and smooth operations of the Experience Function so that our broader team can concentrate on the important task of ensuring prospective and enrolling RMIT students have the best possible experience.
You will be an experienced administrator, who is eager to hit the ground running and join a dynamic and nimble work environment.
You're comfortable working with a level of ambiguity and draw on your initiative to identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
Your analytical skills and aptitude for creative problem-solving will set you up for success in this role.To excel in this position, you'll also have:
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, minutes and project documentation.
- Experience coordinating projects or other high-level administrative initiatives with a strong financial focus (including understanding budgets and resourcing, business analytics and/or reporting).
- The capacity to collate information and data from multiple sources and develop innovative solutions to address challenges.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills, with some experience producing written content, communications or events.
- Experience working with various software programs, including Microsoft Office, project-management tools (e.g., Jira or Asana) and Workday (or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems).
You will join the Experience Function, as part of the International and Engagement Portfolio.
The Experience function's vision is to bring to life RMIT's strategy by putting the student and all of RMIT's audiences at the heart of everything that we do and delivering a CX vision and insights to help guide the University deliver on our promise.
The function is responsible for Global Marketing and our Brand, Digital and CX, Student Recruitment and Admissions, Market Intelligence and Propositions (product and pricing strategy), Alumni and Engagement.
