The Company:
With over 400 sales offices in 80+ locations worldwide, my client is at the forefront of the Automation & Controls industry globally.
The Role:
- Responsible for maintaining existing customer base whilst developing new business opportunities across the mining and water sectors in Eastern WA and Metro areas.
- Initially some travel required, that will taper down over time.
- Support and promote their range of Pneumatic controllers within the designated territory.
- Identify needs and provide technical solutions to clients around complex systems to solve problems in production and efficiency.
- Support resellers and distributors.
- Must have 4+ years' experience selling any type of mechanical/electrical component such as pneumatics, valves, instrumentation or any industrial focused products.
- Abiity to understand technical appliations in a manufacturing proess and where my clients products fit into this solution.
- A proven track record of success in new relationship management, upselling/cross selling, in a competitive environment, using solutions/needsbased approach to sales.
- Drive and determination
- An ability to build and sustain relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Preferred qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
