Arena Fitness

Arena is a fast paced, 100% coach-led circuit training HIIT program that combines the best of MMA and functional training in 45-minute challenging workouts.


The Arena Championship Series will offer members innovative and progressive programmed classes catering for a variety of fitness levels, and an interactive workout experience, with on screen timers, exercise videos and choreographed routines led by coach instruction.


The Opportunity:

The
Lead Arena trainer is responsible for the effective facilitation of instructor training.

The lead trainer plays an important role in ensuring consistency of the Arena by Goodlife product and assists to manage quality instructor outcomes.

The lead trainer will also assist with the ongoing training, support and development of Arena Coaches.


The key duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong coaching skills and ability to deliver concise feedback with positive messaging
  • Ensure all participants meet brand standards and can deliver the Arena by Goodlife product in line with industry standards after assessment
  • Be responsible for collection of training attendees' names and passing on information to NPC (National Programs Coordinator) for certificates and database requirements
  • Monthly meetings with the Lead Programmer, and other state trainers, reviewing programming updates
  • A strong leader who is a critical thinker and a great problem solver
  • Work effectively with and communicate openly with key stakeholders (NGFM, NPC and SGFM)
  • A great motivator and coach who develops effective working relationships
  • Willingness to undertake personal and professional development

To be successful in this role you have:

_Essential_

  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Fitness
  • Group Fitness Instructor or small group training coaching experience
  • Arena Training by Goodlife training
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications essential
  • Registration as a Fitness Professional with AusActive
