    Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business based in Brisbane. This is opportunity is available on either a permanent or contract basis. Flexibility to work full-time / part-time.

    Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business based in Brisbane. This is opportunity is available on either a permanent or contract basis. Flexibility to work full-time / part-time.

    You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia.

    Ideally you will be suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognised institution and have a 5+ years of proven experience within the mining sector, including 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar Project Management role. It is advantageous if you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or hold an equivalent certification.

    In addition, you will have:

    • Significant experience in project delivery management.
    • Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client facing roles.
    • Engineering project management experience with extensive knowledge Australian and International applicable codes and standards.
    • Proven experience managing risk during the design process consistent with technical and commercial requirements.
    • Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and engineering programs.
    • A focus on delivering solutions and adept at managing a dynamic environment with varying tasks and changing and competing priorities.
