Valmar Support Services Ltd is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing a wide range of aged care and disability support services to people who live in or around the ACT, the Riverina/Southwest Slopes and Southern Tablelands areas of New South Wales

We have current and potential vacancy for a Casual Home Care & Garden Maintenance Worker with our Community Aged and Transport Service in the Yass and Boorowa areas.

Our Home Care & Garden Maintenance Worker will be asked to provide a range of services to the aged community to assist them obtain the necessary care and support they need to live a safe and independent life.

This will include but not limited to garden/yard maintenance, domestic and personal assistance, community and social activities as well as general support to our clients with their everyday living in their home.

Successful applicants will hold an Australian Drivers Licence, hold or willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate and a minimum of Certificate III in Aged Care or in a related field.

The applicant will possess well developed communication skills and have a commitment to enhancing the life options of the frail aged and people with a disability.

Successful applicant must also be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and able to provide proof of vaccination as required.
