We work on a range of government Emergency service vehicles, fitting new vehicles and decommissioning. This is a fast paced environment with plenty of work to do whilst working with a great team.


THE POSITION:

We are looking for full-time Store Person working in our NSW Police Fleet workshop

Responsibilities include

  • Internal customer relations
  • Helping our Trade staff with parts and goods from the Store
  • Assessment and testing of parts and consumables for quality control
  • Repairs and maintenance of parts using hand tools
  • Assembling vehicle part kits and testing equipment.
  • Assessing writeoff and warranty parts
  • Receiving incoming deliveries, unloading of goods
  • Stock control and management including consumables and parts.
  • Stock entry into Excel and Inventory system
  • Coordinating the dispatch of goods
  • Picking and packing
  • Allocating stock to shelves using Forklift
  • Speaking with Manufacturers and suppliers to source specialised and specific parts and accessories
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED:

  • Previous parts / stores experience within the Automotive Industry.
  • Computer skills required Intermediate
  • Advanced in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and data entry and Inventory management.
  • Current forklift license and experience
  • Face to face customer service skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude to work
  • Good communication skills
  • Can work independently and is eager to learn

This role requires NSW Police Security clearance - provided by Amtek

Salary:
$ $28.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
