Working closely with our Head of Animation, Animation Supervisors and fellow Animators, you will be responsible for creating believable animation with convincing performances and motion.

You will have the ability to complete digi-double, creature, character or rigid body animation.

Delivering work to strict deadlines, you will be aware of project schedules and work hard to achieve these goals, and produce content within the framework of the DNEG pipeline.

Junior Animator

Must have

At least 1 years of CG experience, within liveaction highend VFX feature films or TV
Ability to perform visual and analytical problemsolving in 3dimensional space, including the ability to accurately interpret 3D layouts and analyze 3D form
Thorough knowledge of Maya
Experienced animating realistic, physical movements over character and stylized performance pieces
Ability to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks
Ability to animate realistic movements
Showreel showcasing highend VFX animation work with an outstanding creature or animation work, weight, detail work, and reference study, as well as 4 legged creature work, and timings and animation that is not just character work

Mid Animator

Must have

3+ years CG animation experience within liveaction Creature and VFX feature films, or highend TV featuring creatures and 4legged work
Ability to perform visual and analytical problemsolving in 3dimensional space, including the ability to accurately interpret 3D layouts and analyze 3D form
Ability to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks
Thorough knowledge of Maya
Showreel showcasing exceptional, highly detailed, highend live action VFX animation work including creatures and detailed high level performance showing instances of flying, bipedal, vehicle animation and use of motion capture

Senior Animator

Must have

5+ years CG animation experience within high end live action VFX feature films
Ability to perform visual and analytical problem solving in 3dimensional space, including the ability to accurately interpret 3D layouts and analyse 3D form
Thorough knowledge of Maya
Proven experience trouble shooting and predicting potential problems with assigned tasks
Ability to support the Leads and Supervisors
Experience mentoring junior artists
Proven experience proactively in finding creative solutions within the bounds of the shots
Ability to contribute to the pipeline and team bringing improvements and overarching methodologies to better the department
Showreel showcasing a variety of exceptional, highly detailed, highend live action VFX animation work including hero creatures, hero digidoubles and detailed high level performance showing instances of flying, bipedal, vehicle and use of motion capture

Nice to have

Tool development using Python or MEL

Well versed in the principles of animation
Ability to work well in a team environment
An eye for detail and a desire for animation
Open, communicative and a great willingness to learn, and work in a team
Will have to have a cando personality, positive, technically astute and have the knowledge that you are starting at entry level
