- Manage project needs and finances with support of the Projects and Grants Manager for all non-French CLP short courses, currently English, Ukrainian, and Polish, with ambitions to add Arabic and Spanish language courses in 2024.
- Provide accurate and timely engagement with applicants, guest speakers, facilitators, relevant stakeholders and prospective partners in all matters relating to the CLP course.
- Support recruitment of CLP short course applicants with the Comms and Marketing Team
- Coordinate the CLP Selection Panel for the review of applications and administration of application outcomes.
- Contribute to, and participate in, other initiatives and projects to support the strategic goals of the Centre for Humanitarian Leadership, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Arts and Education
- A bachelor's or master's degree with subsequent relevant experience preferred. Experience with the humanitarian or development sector is ideal.
- Significant experience in an administration coordination role, preferably within a tertiary institution, research institute, NGO or similar organisation managing program coordination and delivery functions and also initiating and or leading efficient project delivery
- Demonstrated experience in project management, and the use of project management approaches in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience with University and/or NGO financial systems for financial management including accounts payable and receivable
- Understanding and experience of humanitarian work and humanitarian environments and knowledge of associated educational and research funding environment
- Professional mastery of a language other than English is highly desirable.

In 2015, Save the Children and Deakin University launched CHL, which aims to bring together academic rigour and humanitarian practice to transform and disrupt the humanitarian system. CHL's mission is to lead and influence change within the humanitarian system through critical analysis, transformational and disruptive education and research, and meaningful contributions to policy and practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small, dynamic, and high-performing team where you will lead, coordinate and manage all aspects of the innovative CLP () short course offered by the Centre of Humanitarian Leadership, including course promotion, answering student queries, and reviewing student applications. You will coordinate a team of international experts and facilitators, supporting logistics, financial administration, process improvements and future business development opportunities for program expansion. You will be the main contact for the CLP course and will ensure the smooth planning and delivery of the CLP program from start to completion. There is great potential for growth with likelihood of an extension when further funding is secured.
