One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a UX designer to work as part of a highly motivated team.

The successful UX designer will be undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions. The successful UX designer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with a 12 month extension option.

The successful UX designer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Illustrate concepts using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • User research including usability testing
  • Design wireframes and prototypes both low and high fidelity (mobile and web
  • Evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product and business owners
The successful UX designer will have experience in the following:

  • Experience in brainstorming, workshops, prototyping and reporting on results.
  • Experience of UI/UX Methodologies and designing to meet WCAG guidelines.
  • Proven experience building rapport and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility
