We will count on you to:

This role sits within the Learning and Insights team and primarily provides effective training services to Mercer's Financial Services Contact Centre teams.

The role also supports the delivery of learning across other key areas of responsibility for the team where necessary.


Responsibilities;

  • Design, deliver, assess and evaluate face to face, virtual / digital and elearning programs
  • Conduct agile, Innovative and empathetic adaptation of programs to align with current environments / working conditions
  • Perform considered evaluation of program content, delivery, industry trends, assessment results and feedback and enact plans designed to optimize the programs produced for the Contact Centre.
  • Develop mastery of all of the platforms required to execute on the team's delivery and evaluation strategy, including administration and scheduling
  • Participate in ongoing and persistent upskilling to ensure that the delivery of programs is aligned with current regulatory, economic and internal environment in addition to contemporary learning trends and innovations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful and agile programs related to Contact Centre requirements.
  • Support the delivery of other programs to deliver on functional strategy, in addition to enterprise wide initiatives where required

What you need to have:


  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years face to face learning & development design and delivery
  • Demonstrative experience in the use of elearning, Learning Management Systems and Digital Facilitation Tools
  • Demonstrable expertise in customer service (superannuation experience preferred)
  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles and a willingness to accelerate your skills in this area
  • An ability to analyse results and identify opportunities to improve
  • An ability to think strategically and identify potential challenges and risks to the induction process
  • An ability to work flexibly in a dynamic and agile team, to deadlines and with a focus on producing superior outcomes that meet the needs of the Helpline
