About the role:


Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Undertake case management of highly complex AAT matters and analysing to develop recommendations for early resolution
  • Obtain necessary information and advice to effectively resolve AAT matters
  • Attend Case Conferences, Conciliations, Hearings conducted by the AAT
  • Prepare documents detailing resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings
  • Assess and respond to priority and risks, including risk to the participant, Scheme sustainability and the Agency
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports, business cases, meeting submissions and correspondence
  • Prepare and maintain electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decisionmaking processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process
  • Lead and contribute to strategic projects and policy development processes
  • Lead development of and contribution to Ministerial and Parliamentary briefs
  • Lead a team and a scope of work, including mentoring, supervising, training and supporting junior Case Managers

MANDATORY

  • Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of complex cases
  • Project and Policy management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one

  • Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
