About the role:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Undertake case management of highly complex AAT matters and analysing to develop recommendations for early resolution
- Obtain necessary information and advice to effectively resolve AAT matters
- Attend Case Conferences, Conciliations, Hearings conducted by the AAT
- Prepare documents detailing resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings
- Assess and respond to priority and risks, including risk to the participant, Scheme sustainability and the Agency
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, business cases, meeting submissions and correspondence
- Prepare and maintain electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decisionmaking processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process
- Lead and contribute to strategic projects and policy development processes
- Lead development of and contribution to Ministerial and Parliamentary briefs
- Lead a team and a scope of work, including mentoring, supervising, training and supporting junior Case Managers
MANDATORY
- Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
- Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of complex cases
- Project and Policy management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
- Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one
