AV delivers major upgrade and new construction works for ambulance branches.

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to provide project support to the two AV Project Managers and the Property Development Manager to assist with project governance and program delivery.

Position on offer is a Full Time, Fixed Term (2 years from start date), currently based in Blackburn North Business Centre with WFH/Hybrid options available.


About the role


The role has a strong focus on tracking works to ensure AV is meeting deliverable milestones, as well as for monthly financial and status reporting plus timely and precise coordination with DTS for the commissioning of branches.

This position also works with the Project Managers and suppliers to ensure furniture, IT and other equipment is ready and available on time at each location.

Reporting to Property Development Manager, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:


  • Coordinate projects using relevant project methodology to meet the desired time, budget, compliance and quality objectives, in line with project documentation and goals,
  • Ensure project documents are completed accurately and stored appropriately,
  • Assist with the development and review of policies, procedures, work instructions, processes and systems related to projects,
  • Gather, analyse and interpret data to support the project activities and objectives,
  • Manage financial reporting and analysis on specified Property Services projects or program of activities.

About you
To be considered for this position you will have a demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating project activities


Additionally, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field or relevant industry certification,
  • Well‐developed verbal and written communication skills,
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills to gain the acceptance of ideas,
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills to enable identification of issues and the judgement to determine appropriate courses of action,
  • Attention to detail.

Successful applicants will need to have received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including references, misconduct and Police Checks.

This position is graded at
AV4 under the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2021.


Hybrid working options are available however it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at our Blackburn North Business Centre.
