Description

Our client, a leading resources company is currently seeking a 3D Model Coordinator to join the existing team in Document Control and assist with manipulating existing models (no design work).

We are seeking an 'outside the box' thinker to step in and assist with maintaining and developing the AIMES system which utilises 3D models to link information across various data sources.

The 3D Model Coordinator will build internal relationships and be happy to travel to site occasionally.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop and utilise systems for maintaining 3D models
Develop and maintain documentation including standards and specifications
Perform QA duties
Capture operational changes and tagging metadata of master models
Provide vendors with uptodate models as required
Liaise with design teams, engineers, surveyors and project managers

About you:

Extensive knowledge of Autodesk products including Navisworks and iConstruct
Understanding of CAD standards
Sound knowledge of mining industry plants
Minimum 5 years CAD experience
Effect written and verbal communication skills
