Sharp & Carter is partnering with one of Melbourne's largest healthcare providers boasting a well-recognised and established brand.


The Role | Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner

The role will ensure financial budgeting and reporting is accurate and timely as well as providing customer-focused business partnering and financial support services to meet the needs of the organisation.


  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior operational staff and the broader Financial Services team.
  • Provide optimum customer service to stakeholders with a 'cando' approach.
  • Ensure accurate, timely and effective completion of month end / yearend financial reporting, including all accruals and finance related transactions.
  • Ensure effective financial quality assurance, evaluation and financial support for business cases and all other financial analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with the delegations of authority, finance manual and any other relevant internal finance policies.
  • Assist in the accurate completion of Program budget and forecasting.
  • Work with leadership within the assigned projects to provide effective and timely financial support, modelling and analysis in order to support informed operational decision making.
  • Provide advice and guidance on funding policy relevant to the assigned projects and supporting the development of annual activity targets.
  • Provide advice to support clinical costing activities.

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • People leadership and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability working and delivering effective results in a large finance team
  • Possess a clear understanding of the management accounting requirements, financial analysis and modelling for a large, complex health service.
  • Ability to embrace change and produce high quality work in agreed timeframes

Salary and Benefits:

- $119,500 + superannuation
