About the role:
Building the capability of Victoria Police's management of RSOs, is a key aspect of this role.

Your duties will include:
- Monitor and advise on best practice and continuous improvement strategies and initiatives, to best inform the Offender Management Division, police and work units from across the state.
- Undertake Compliance and Quality Assurance audits examining and evaluating data relevant to various processes and databases, to identify trends whilst facilitating continuous improvement.
- Conduct research and analysis on the effectiveness and efficacy of specific plans, program initiatives and practices.
- Prepare high quality written reports which provide results, recommendations and implementation strategies which align with the direction of the division and the organisation.
- Drive preparation and response to external agency audits, such as IBAC.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- A demonstrated ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and strategies, which relate to and incorporate complex and sensitive systems, legislative and regulatory frameworks, maintaining confidentiality and information management obligations.
- Engaging communication skills that demonstrate highly developed written and verbal skills, which will motivate and influence a broad audience, including internal and external personnel and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to review and interpret statistical information and data to identify trends, patterns and issues and a demonstrated ability to provide expert advice and recommendations concerning complex technical and legislative matters.
- Proven ability to monitor and constructively manage client and stakeholder expectations to ensure positive outcomes for the stakeholder and the Offender Management Division.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret legislation, and identify how this legislation is relevant and aligns with the functions of this role.
Requirements and relevant information:
- One (1) x fulltime, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo preemployment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
