FORKLIFT DRIVER & WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Due to significant growth, an exciting career opportunity exists for a highly organised and motivated FORKLIFT DRIVER & WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT.

We are relocating to a new facility that requires setup and pallet planning.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift and applicable machinery, for the unloading and loading of deliveries.
• Crossreference delivery documents with actual delivered stock
• Documenting and communicating any damaged, missing or faulty stock
• Signing delivery forms
• Allocating deliveries to storage area within warehouses
• Relocating, restocking and organising stored stock, to maximise storage efficiency
• Using computerised systems, barcode scanners and other technology to record stock movement
• Labelling of stock
• Stock control
• Assist in managing a large volume of pick and pack orders
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all orders are dispatched in a timely manner
• Keep records of goods that have been picked & packed
• Prepare dispatch notes and labels
• Arranging carriage or actually deliver stock to customer or outlet
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the warehouse at all times

Requirements:

• MUST have a high reach Minimum 3 Year experience in warehousing and distribution is essential
• MUST be a confident High reach forklift driver.
• MUST have a current drivers license
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, multitask and meet deadlines on a daily basis
• General knowledge of OH&S/WHS policies and procedures
• WMS Systems would be an advange.
• Compliance to warehouse procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal communication skills and wellpresented
• Can work in a collaborative environment as well as autonomously
• Highly organised with the ability to forecast and forward plan
• Exceptional attention to detail

This role is based in Botany, New South Wales

This is a full time role, with head office being based in Rosebery, Sydney NSW.
