The Role
Due to an exciting period of growth, the business has developed a new structure to provide even more support to our teammates, clients while continuing to provide an awesome experience to the communities in which we operate.
We are currently on the hunt for an additional Area Manager who is passionate about providing exceptional recreation and leisure experiences to communities.
You will be supported by a Regional Manager and state support team who are truly committed to creating a fun, collaborative and all-round awesome environment where our teams develop and flourish.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improves the capability of the Venue Manager team through coaching and training.
- Lead and maintain open and meaningful relationships with Council and other key clients and stakeholders.
- Put the team first, develop and coach them to be constantly improving and growing with exceptional customer experience culture
- Maximise business growth and results.
- Sound knowledge of budget processes and techniques with the ability to write budgets and reforecast results.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a fantastic leader and coach whilst developing and managing teams.
- Undertake actions to actively support access and inclusion to all facilities, programs, services, and employment, for all members of the community.
- Lead, motivate, resource, support and hold accountable others to achieve excellence in access and inclusion to connect all in the community to leisure.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check (or Equivalent)
- National Police Check
