About the role

Reporting to the Executive, the purpose of the National Sales Manager is to proactively bring on new business while managing the growth and development of a team of Business Development Managers.

Your duties will include but not be limited to

Develop an understanding of business, markets, services and competitors
Foster client relationships and capitalise new business opportunities
Research, identify and infiltrate new customer bases
Identify, develop and execute sales and marketing programs/opportunities
Present ideas on how to maintain and grow market share
Implementation of new business processes and procedures including but not limited to a commission scheme
Onboarding, training and development of new staff
Remote management of a Business Development team
Various other duties to support in the successful acquisition of new business and increased market share

Selection criteria
To be successful in this role you will have

Proven track record managing & developing a high performing team
Previous experience in a similar, high functioning sales/business development role
A proactive, sales driven mind set
Ability to use your creative mind to develop and implement new processes, procedures and marketing tactics
