    Description
    Sydney Water Construction Engineer Opportunity

    Sydney Water has partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4 C) to provide design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services in the P4 S program within Sydney Water's Southern Region.

    D4 C, a consortium of Comdain Infrastructure, John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP, aims to offer long-term employment opportunities, diversify skills, and create pathways into the water industry for the people of the southern region of Sydney.


    Role Overview:
    D4 C is seeking a Construction Engineer to join their team in delivering excellence across the Southern Region.

    This role will involve leading a program of works related to stormwater networks in inner-city areas, including network renewal, remediation, and naturalization.


    Responsibilities:

    As a Construction Engineer, you will:
    Manage project delivery following NEC4 processes
    Assign resources efficiently, monitor workflow, and set project goals
    Provide constructability input to the design
    Review progress against plans and contractual arrangements
    Ensure strong contract, commercial, and financial risk management
    Monitor staff resourcing and labor to achieve project targets
    Adhere to Sydney Water policies and procedures
    Track costs internally and report externally
    Identify and manage project changes


    Essential Requirements:
    To excel in this role, you should have:

    Tertiary qualification or equivalent
    Experience managing medium to large projects
    Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, and environmental management
    Advanced financial and commercial management skills
    Client relationship and stakeholder management experience
    Proficiency in MS Office and possession of a White Card
