Our client is looking for an IT Support Officer to join their team. They have offices located in Melbourne CBD and have a hybrid working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for that next step in their career.


In this role you will be:

  • Responsible for escalation and appropriate allocation of IT issues unable to be resolved at Helpdesk level, appropriately up skilling to remove the need for escalation of basic issues
  • Provide IT support on a remote basis where required and ensuring an appropriate mix of flexible and face to face interactions with users
  • Assist the Marketing team with Internet and intranet activities, updates and technical requirements as required
  • Assist with the procurement, setup and logistics of new equipment for users and ensure they have adequate training and support to enable them to use the equipment efficiently
  • Participate and manage IT projects as required

To be successful you will need:

  • Must have 18 months commercial experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and able to drive effective discussions with business resources from help desk level up to working with vendors
  • Strong relationship building capabilities to collaborate and communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Experience with networking, Microsoft products like O365, AD and some CRM experience
  • Experience setting up new users and equipment for new staff
  • Ability to work with vendors as required for larger support issues
  • Experience using a support ticketing system and managing conflicting priorities.

This role is offering a Packaged Salary of $60-$65K, but as they are a not for profit organisation there are lots of benefits for full time staff.

The team are onsite 3 days a week with 2 days as optional work from home days.

You will be working with some very experienced staff who are all about mentoring and teaching, and you will also have the opportunity to be involved in lots of projects that they have as well.
