What role will you play?


Provide data strategy, architecture, analysis, and data visualisation resources to various sub-divisional transformation and digitalisation projects within Macquarie's Corporate Operations Group Business Service Division.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible to extract data using SQL query, transform and manipulate it using Python and/or other programming language, load it via Power Query into Power BI and create relational models and visualisations.
  • Effectively implement Data Quality frameworks to assess data quality and evaluate data across diverse data sets and business problems including workplaces and corporate real estate, procurement services, operational resilience, supplier risk and Net Zero sustainability projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and capture questions, problems, and requirements bringing solutions supported by quantitative data analysis.
  • Build queries and models to look for insights to answer business questions that can be aligned in the optimisation of processes, product development and analysis of customer needs, trends, and behaviours.
  • Build and develop modular solutions that can be reused or transferred to other usecases, ensure data security and privacy controls are effective
  • Use Agile project management methodologies, principles, and techniques to cover key transformations and digitalisation projects.
Document and explain to non-data experts how to use and interpret data.

  • Translate requirements to Data Engineers to source data and collate for analysis.
  • Engage with nondata experts to show final findings and insights derived from indepth data analysis.
