The Company

Our client is within the top 10 largest companies within Australia, and having taken significant share in their new sector.

They are moving into a new state of the art
$50 million dollar, 30,0000 m2 facility next year so you will be involved in both maintenance of their older site whilst supporting project activity within the new distribution centre.

The Role
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, this role will be responsible for;

Overseeing facilities maintenance site wide including the; implementation of a facilities management strategy, overseeing of the budget and wider planning for annual spend, the development of preventative maintenance schedules, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
Accountability across maintenance services including the supervision of contractors.
A focus towards contributing to a safety first culture, driving policies and compliance site wide whilst ensuring that maintenance activities are performed in line with schedules.
Supporting Project Activity within the new Distribution Centre.

Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will;

Have at least 35 years experience in the Supply Chain / Logistics / Manufacturing space preferably from an FMCG based, automated industrial or similar industry.
A certification and/or trade qualification in Electrician, Plumbing, Carpentry, Fitter and Turner or related fields.
Proven qualification in maintenance processes and technical issues and experience in considering economical aspects.
Be highly ambitious, passionate and willing to develop the facilities maintenance function.
