This is a Part Time, Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months based in East Brisbane.**:


The Role:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Case Manager to join a team of likeminded, down-to-earth professionals who are genuinely passionate about supporting families in their recovery and re-establishment of their lives following domestic and family violence.


  • Provide DFV case management services to women, children and young people within an evidencebased framework of comprehensive risk and needs assessments, crisis intervention, case planning and review, service evaluation, strengthsbased practice, skills building, empowerment and problem solving
  • Work within appropriate practice frameworks, ensuring the safety and needs of children and young people are appropriately assessed and responded to, reporting to statutory authorities any concerns for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
  • Ensure goal plans and supports are consistent with contemporary research and industry standards in the field of domestic and family violence
  • Assist women and children to gain skills to assist them to safely reestablish themselves in the community
  • Ensure that the voices of children are heard and supported
The domestic and family violence case manager will consult, collaborate and network with;

  • Domestic and family violence team
  • Support centre employees
  • External stakeholder/agencies
  • Clients and their families
  • Specialist services
  • Housing providers
  • Legal entities and Government organisations

_The position has no direct/indirect reports and is not directly responsible for any of the operating budget._

To Be Successful:


  • A Degree qualification in Social Work, Social or Behavioural Sciences or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' Complex Case Management within a domestic and family violence, intensive family support or housing and homelessness role
  • Experience conducting risk and safety assessments
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues

Additional Requirements:


  • Valid Australian Drivers License (unrestricted)
  • Paid Blue Card
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Salary and Benefits:
