ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an Alcohol and Drug Testing Technician to join our Alcohol and other Drug (AOD) Team, based in Brisbane QLD

This is a full position reporting to the AOD Supervisor.

It is expected that the ideal applicant will possess highly effective written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, people management, time management and organisational skills.

The key objectives of this role:

Conduct Alcohol and Drug testing in accordance with company policies and procedures, in line with the relevant Australian Standards in various parts of QLD.

To be successful in this role you will require:

Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail
A desire to learn and contribute.
Reliability, punctuality and be well groomed.
The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
The ability to multitask, prioritise and deliver results in a timely manner.
A positive, flexible and versatile approach to the wide variety of tasks you will be involved with
Be a selfstarter who can take direction and learn quickly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Outlook, Word, Excel
Possess or be willing to obtain the Nationally Accredited HLTPAT005, Collect specimens for drugs of abuse qualification. (The successful applicant will be able to obtain this qualification through Alcolizer, if required)
A willingness to travel intrastate or do OT when operational needs require.
The ability to travel to Perth WA for Training (Flights etc covered)
Hold a current and unrestricted Drivers Licence
Full and unrestricted work rights
Be able to supply a National Police Clearance
Be available to start immediately.
The successful applicant will live a maximum of 1 hour from the Brisbane CBD
