We are currently seeking an experienced
Mechanical Supervisor to join our client's team to support them across their project across WA.

This role is for one of our reputable engineering clients who have over 30 years' experience and within this time have built a solid reputation within the industry They service Defence, Marine and Commercial industries and have a solid presence here in Australia

Previous supervisory experience Is advantageous, but if you're looking to progress in your career and take on more responsibility as a supervisor, then this could be the role for you


Responsibilities include:


  • Supervising a team of fitters and TA's
  • Giving direction and support to the team
  • Liaising with the management team
  • Inspect and maintain shipboard machinery including hydraulic & pneumatic equipment, winches, lifting gear and pump sets.
  • Inspection and testing of fire systems and diesel generators
  • Fault identification, troubleshooting & condition reporting
  • Sourcing & installation of new parts and equipment
  • Pressure testing of valves and hydraulic components

To be considered for the role:

  • Previous experience in a supervisor role
  • Advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely
  • Mechanical Fitter / Heavy diesel / Marine (Australian Trade recognized)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise tasks
  • Effective communicator.

Hydraulics trade/experience (highly desirable):

Marine or Offshore Service Technician experience (highly desirable):


  • Previous experience working on heavy machinery/equipment:
  • Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents required for security requirements.
  • Strong safety experience.
  • Willing to obtain national police certificate for security and compete a preemployment medical
  • Other tickets (e.g. Confined Space, Working Safely at Heights, Rigging, EWP, forklift) would be advantageous.
