Situated near the Edithvale Wetlands Nature Reserve and Aspendale Primary, we offer play-based curriculum which evolves from the children's interests.

Both indoor and outdoor experiences are carefully planned to enable each child to learn, develop and thrive. The program uses play as a foundation for learning.

Children who attend a Glen Education kindergarten are engaged in a play-based curriculum which evolve from the curiosities of children, and which engage them through things that spark their interests.

• Glen Education are currently seeking Early Childhood Educators to join our team at Glen Aspendale North Kindergarten for a parttime role as a Cert III/Diploma Qualified Educator.

About the positions Glen Education are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Cert III/Diploma educator for a 3 day position totalling 19.75 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday). This position will be composed of both Cert III and Diploma hours - perfect for a newly qualified Diploma Educator to develop their capabilities. Certificate III Educators work 4-6 hour shifts (generally half days in the morning from 8:00am or afternoon until 4:30pm) and Diploma Educators work 7-8 hour shifts (full day in session).

• An Early Childhood Education certificate, diploma, degree or equivalent, as approved by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
• Must hold a valid and current Working with Children Clearance or VIT registration (provisional or full registration)
• Must hold a current (not older than 6 months) National Police Check
• Must hold a valid and current First Aid (Education and Care Setting), CPR and Child Protection certificates
• Demonstrated knowledge of current best practice that is reflective of the approved National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
• Working knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to deliver high quality education
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and confidence to engage with a diverse range of people
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate a positive work culture and be solution focused in thinking and practice
• Teachers must have demonstrated capacity to positively and confidently lead teams
