About your role
As a Mechanical Fitter, key duties include but are not limited to:

Execution of reactive and regulatory maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises.
Identifying opportunities for improvement
Perform troubleshooting and faultfinding tasks.
Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings.
Maintain site machinery to ensure safety of personnel & equipment.
Participation in regular shutdown tasks as an individual or working with other members of the team.

Skills, knowledge, and experience

Relevant mechanical trade qualification
Ideally, a previous experience in the Industrial Manufacturing industry
Knowledge in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrics will be highly regarded.
Exceptional faultfinding and troubleshooting skills.
Have a proactive approach whilst holding safety and customer as core values.
A confident communicator who can work autonomously and collaboratively.
Selfstarter who is focused on outcomes and keen to contribute to the business as a whole.
