About the role:


We currently have a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced Executive Support Officer to provide a wide range of high level and confidential executive assistance and support to the Executive Assistant on behalf of the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Group Lead Team.


This role will support the Executive Assistant in delivering high level administrative, organisational and scheduling structure and support to the Executive and Lead Team.


What the role will involve:


  • Coordinating all ministerial correspondence for the Group in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide support to the Executive Assistant in undertaking duties for the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Preparation, management and administering daytoday activities including; diary management, coordinating Group meetings, workshops, Lead Team support and travel arrangements.
  • Undertake administration, procurement and financial services such as credit card reconciliation, invoicing, and purchase orders as required to support the office of the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Assist with Group Communications.
  • Establishing executive correspondence and records, following up on pending matters with direction.

Key skills and experience:


  • Substantial administrative and support experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with mínimal direction and high attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset with the skill of working well under pressure with conflicting priorities.
  • A cando attitude with the ability to remain calm and focussed in high pressure situations.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of discretion when dealing with sensitive issues.
