Northern Beaches Hospital is a 488 bed facility operated by Healthscope.

Treating both private and public in and outpatients, NBH provides acute medical, surgical and mental health care to Sydney's northern beaches.

Located on the Northern Beaches, the hospital is extremely well-situated and its management supports and encourages staff to achieve work-life balance, while actively supporting their professional development.


Central to the Housekeeping Supervisor role is:

  • Ensure a high level of housekeeping service is provided and maintained
  • Follow all procedures relating to housekeeping techniques
  • Planning and allocating workloads to staff
  • Supervision of approx. 80 staff regarding customer service and safe work practices and manual handling techniques
  • Coordinate daily operational activities and preparation of task lists and work schedules
  • Motivate, support and train staff
  • Provide hands on service

HOURS:_ the role is Sunday to Thursday with Friday and Saturday off from 6am to 2pm. You will be awarded with extra allowances for working the Sunday._


An experienced team leader with a passion for developing talent within the team, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous supervisory experience within the healthcare or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards & EQuIPNational, Work Health and Safety, Infection Prevention and Control standards, Waste management
  • Proven experience developing high performing teams with a service excellence approach
  • Passionate about building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Competent computer skills with knowledge
